Fairview Residence - Kandy

Perfect base for one night with a spectacular view of the lake and temple. the double room is airy and wonderful. the staff are fairly friendly and nice. the ambiance is quiet. Fantastic location, close to the temple, Kandy lake, the city, and Stupa.

Overall it was spotlessly clean, with a private bathroom. The breakfast was REASONABLY GOOD and the staff was amicable and lovely. Tbh, had a very relaxing stay for the price.

Had perfect 10/10 stay for the price, the staff were amiable, location was unbeatable close to the city center. Enjoyed staying here, my room was airy and had iron and ironing board, a work desk, and a dining area. Thanks very much for an exceptional stay for the price. Make sure you stay in the triple room with a larger balcony overlooking Kandy, windows all around. A kettle and glassware are a nice touch.

The place is clean, modern, and the bathroom is pleasant.

As a backpacker, I stayed at Fairview Residence in Kandy for 2 nights and it was one of the best places I've stayed. The newly built accommodation was wonderfully clean, and our room had a balcony with the most incredible view of the lake. The owners were extremely friendly, checking on us and offering cold drinks and food. The room was light and modern with big windows, providing a great view and a lovely outdoor area. The shower facilities were the best we've had during our trip.

The room was comfortable with a nice terrace and a great view of the lake. The location was perfect, as everything was within walking distance. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the WiFi was reliable. we were able to enjoy a fine sunset from the balcony.

Breakfast option could be improved by offering it on-site.

We were blown away by the million-dollar view from our room's wrap-around balcony. The breathtaking vista of the lake and surrounding hills was truly unforgettable. The room itself was spacious and well-furnished, providing a comfortable stay. We also loved the convenience of having a good restaurant just a short stroll away. we had a fantastic experience at Fairview Residence and would definitely recommend it to others.

We stayed at a cozy, clean, and peaceful hostel with a helpful and friendly staff. the highlight of our stay was the amazing view of the lake from the common terrace. Being located on top of a hill, we had a direct and beautiful view of the lake, especially from our own wrap, around balcony. the only cautionary note is that there are mischievous monkeys around, so it's best not to leave anything on the balcony. a highly recommended and value, for, money place to stay in Sri Lanka!

I recently stayed at Fairview Residence in Kandy for a few days. The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning, overlooking the city lights and the beautiful Kandy Lake. The location was perfect, with easy access to the lake, the temple of the Tooth, and the shops. The communal balcony was a great place to relax and enjoy a drink while taking in the scenery. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. it was one of the best experiences I've had as a backpacker.

Mind-blowing kitchen area, own breakfast, great location with beautiful lake and temple views. Short walk to Kandy, cheap tuk tuk back. Spectacular rooms and bathrooms, coffee/tea provided.
